The fine print

Terms & conditions

These terms cover how basketball training works with G.O.A.T Training, including the risks that come with athletic activity. Billing, cancellation and refund figures live on our refund and cancellation policy, and data handling lives on our privacy policy. All three apply together.

Effective January 1, 2025 / last updated August 2026
01

Acknowledgement

"Company", "we" and "us" mean G.O.A.T Training / Growth on all tiers. "You" means the individual accessing our site or programs, or the parent or legal guardian of an athlete enrolled in our programs. By booking a free session, enrolling an athlete, or otherwise using our site or programs, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our refund and cancellation policy, and our privacy policy. If you disagree with any part, do not book or enroll.

02

Assumption of risk and waiver of liability

Inherent risk. Basketball training involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury, including sprains, fractures and contact injuries. By enrolling an athlete, you confirm they are physically able to participate and you have disclosed any medical condition that could affect their safety.
Release. To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, you assume the ordinary risks of athletic participation and release G.O.A.T Training, its coaches and staff from claims arising out of those ordinary risks. Nothing here releases liability that cannot lawfully be released.
Emergency medical care. If a parent or guardian cannot be reached in an emergency, you authorize G.O.A.T Training to seek emergency medical care for the athlete at your expense.
Signed waiver. New members complete a signed waiver during onboarding covering the specifics above. These Terms apply from the moment you book a free session, whether or not the onboarding waiver has been signed yet.
03

Code of conduct

Athletes, parents and guardians are expected to treat coaches, staff and other athletes with respect. We reserve the right to end a session or membership without refund for conduct that puts athletes or coaches at risk, or that is abusive toward staff.
Athletes are expected to arrive on time and follow facility rules at every location we train out of across Sandusky, Huron, Erie and Seneca counties, OH.
04

Membership, billing and media

Billing figures live on one page. Membership minimums, monthly billing, pauses, cancellations, camp and league refunds are all set out in full on our refund and cancellation policy, which is part of these Terms. We keep them on one page so the numbers never drift out of sync.
Media release. Photo, video and coaching film handling, including the optional marketing-use consent, is covered in our privacy policy.
05

Third-party platforms

Scheduling, film and progress tracking run through the Coach IQ athlete portal. Payment processing runs through Stripe. CRM, email and text delivery run through GoHighLevel. Each provider's own terms apply to the parts of the experience they handle, alongside these Terms.

06

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, G.O.A.T Training's total liability for any claim arising from our programs or site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

07

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly with us will be handled in the courts of Ohio.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
08

Changes to these terms and contact us

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes are communicated in advance, and the current version always lives on this page.
